We are close enough to all the areas' attractions for you to explore yet tucked away enough for you to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors

Whether you're visiting to explore the trails, celebrate a special occasion or simply take a break from every day, we hope your stay is relaxing, comfortable and filled with the beauty of the Shawangunk Mountains.  

To make the most of your visit, we recommend traveling by car. Although Uber services our area, availability can be limited and wait times may exceed 30 minutes. If you're arriving by public transportation, we are about 35 minutes from the Metro-North station in Poughkeepsie and the Trailways Bus Station in New Paltz is only 15 minutes away. Taxi service/Uber is available from both locations to the lodge.

We are 4 1/2 miles down the mountain from Minnewaska State Park Preserve.  The Mohonk Visitor Center is only 1/2 mile up the road.  New Paltz is a 15-minute car ride away.  We are within 20 minutes of numerous wineries, breweries, farms & a distillery.

*Outdoor fire pit areas and back deck - the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of adventure (weather permitting)

We are 100% Smoke & Vape free property (inside & outside).  We do have a designated smoking area at the end of the driveway near the entrance.
