Will Obeid focuses on boutique urban and destination resort properties in major markets; residential, multi-family, co-living properties; and experiential retail concepts. He is skilled in acquisition selection, financial analysis, brand development, and management of operations teams.  Mr. Obeid is the Principal of Arcade Capital Group, the private alternative investment firm he formed in 2014 that is focused on real estate, hotel management, and the global wellness economy, a growing industry worth more than $4.2 trillion.

For the past 20 years, Mr. Obeid has structured investments with an asset value of over $2.0 billion. Mr. Obeid through Arcade and previous companies, has invested in approximately 35 commercial buildings and 15 hotels. The firm currently manages assets in New York and Colorado.

From 2003 though 2014 Mr. Obeid was the CEO & President of Gemini Real Estate Advisors, a full service real estate company that he co-founded in 2003. During his tenure, he built Gemini into one the leading non-union hotel owners and operators in New York City.  Mr. Obeid created the GEM Hotels brand, one of the most successful and profitable brands in its category, these hotel properties earned rave reviews by guests and the press.  The GEM Hotels had some of the highest profit margins in the industry and was on the leading edge of the major trend towards affordable and stylish hotel rooms.  Mr. Obeid also created and developed from ground-up the spectacular Jade Hotel Greenwich Village, which was awarded the coveted Stanley White Award for architecture.  When the Jade Hotel was sold, the transaction was amongst the highest price per key of any non-union hotel in New York city to date (which more than doubled the cash multiple for investors in the project).  While with Gemini, Mr. Obeid also oversaw the growth of 4 million square feet of retail real estate located throughout 14 different states.

Previously, Mr. Obeid worked with Kushner Companies to launch a new hospitality division for the family office. As head of hospitality, he spent two years sourcing new projects. He also oversaw the development of the beautifully designed Wave Resort and played a vital role in early-stage planning for several other hotel development projects. Mr. Obeid began his career as an investment banker, working with Smith Barney (now Citigroup) and The Blackstone Group. He earned a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from The University of Michigan.
